Travel insurance questions

What is the main difference between Travel SE and Travel LX for yacht charters?

Both plans offer yacht charter travel protection. LX has higher medical and evacuation limits. LX also offers optional CFAR/IFAR, subject to added premium, purchase deadlines, state eligibility and policy wording; standard covered cancellation reasons depend on the selected policy wording.

Does Travel SE or LX automatically cover every charter deposit?

No. Coverage depends on the policy wording, the definition of insured trip cost, eligibility, covered reasons and any applicable limits.

Can CFAR be added to Travel SE?

Travel SE may offer optional Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) and Interruption For Any Reason (IFAR) benefits, subject to availability, eligibility and plan terms. If available, these options generally must be purchased within a time-sensitive period after the initial trip deposit. Check the options and deadlines when requesting a quote.
